Yeah I think people are too quick to preach forgiveness sometimes, I’m really sorry that happened, if I were you I’d never break breath to any of them again, however in this situation, they were really close to Moses before Trish, and they all have kids similar ages, I don’t think it would hurt to at least try to reconcile offline, if it doesn’t work out then they know they did try. Not to get dark but in my dads last few months of life I was very standoffish and wouldn’t allow myself to get close to him, and I regret that deeply, I wish I had just figured out our differences & was there for him when he needed someone, sometimes stubbornness can come back to bite you.

Something I like to think about is, if you're in an argument with someone where you aren't talking, you have to ask yourself, if they died tomorrow, would you feel ok with your last interaction with them. I don't talk to my father for good reason and I think if he died tomorrow, some freak car accident or whatever I don't believe it would bother me, and obviously it goes both ways, if your willing to make amends and they are not, thats just out of your control, but I think if you're refusing to talk to someone you love or used to love, but if they died tomorrow you know you'd give anything to go back in time and change things, then you need to make amends right away, because they could very easily die any day. Right now you're back in time and you can change things. I think about that with my cat. When a pet died for the first time in my life, I remember thinking what I would give for one more day and now as an adult I look at my cat and I think, this is my one more day right now.
My father passed a decade ago, and the grief I felt was for the man I wished he could be.. not the man he was. I don’t often cut people out of my life, but when I get to that point it’s only when I know I would be comfortable with the way things were left when they were still alive. I give people ample opportunity to redeem themselves, if they can’t do that… it’s on them not me.

Something I like to think about is, if you're in an argument with someone where you aren't talking, you have to ask yourself, if they died tomorrow, would you feel ok with your last interaction with them. I don't talk to my father for good reason and I think if he died tomorrow, some freak car accident or whatever I don't believe it would bother me, and obviously it goes both ways, if your willing to make amends and they are not, thats just out of your control, but I think if you're refusing to talk to someone you love or used to love, but if they died tomorrow you know you'd give anything to go back in time and change things, then you need to make amends right away, because they could very easily die any day. Right now you're back in time and you can change things. I think about that with my cat. When a pet died for the first time in my life, I remember thinking what I would give for one more day and now as an adult I look at my cat and I think, this is my one more day right now.
My father passed a decade ago, and the grief I felt was for the man I wished he could be.. not the man he was. I don’t often cut people out of my life, but when I get to that point it’s only when I know I would be comfortable with the way things were left when they were still alive. I give people ample opportunity to redeem themselves, if they can’t do that… it’s on them not me.
I think Hila was really hurt by the fact that her brother didn't stand up for her when Trisha was being so Nasty to her. I mean, she called her a c*nt. That's the nastiest thing. Hila is a sweet person. Moses should be the one to approach and apologize and start the process.

Here are my two cents. Moses and Trisha are two very toxic and envious family members. They will never be loyal. You will always have to watch your backs with them. Even though I enjoyed frenemies sometimes very much as well but the toxicity of Trisha is almost unbearable and she can't control herself. It's pathological. I wouldn't encourage Ethan and Hila to make up with them but quite the contrary. Never allow those two back into your lives. They will never change. Say good riddance and move on. Tana should know better also anyone else who wants to encourage you to bring that poisonous couple back into your lives.
